Error importing Excel file
Remove newlines in Excel file
One of the most common problems encountered when importing Excel files is when a cell contains a newline (Alt + enter, see figure below). The text may still appear as a single line, but is technically two lines and causes an error during import. Once all the newlines have been removed the file can be successfully imported.
1. Press "Ctrl + h" to open the search and replace function. Enter "Ctrl + j" in the search field, and leave the replace field empty.
2. Click "replace all."
3. All the newlines have been replaced.
